Ever After Productions was founded in 2007 by Julian Adair as a vibrant creative outlet for dance and performing arts within our community. Nutcracker Delights, which premiered in December 2007 at Bellevue Little Theater, has blossomed into a cherished holiday tradition, uniting performers from across the metro area. Auditions welcome dancers from over a dozen schools, alongside seasoned actors, singers, fencers, and performers of diverse talents.
Nutcracker Delights offers a fresh perspective on the classic ballet, intertwining storytelling that reveals the deeper narrative behind the performance, complemented by breathtaking dance sequences like the Snow variation and the Land of Sweets. This production has garnered multiple nominations for outstanding script and dance production, celebrating its artistic excellence.
Ever After Productions has since expanded into concert dance, debuting “A Suite for Small Spaces” in May 2025 in partnership with Shelterbelt Theater, as part of their Branching Out series. This inspiring program, created by Julian Adair and featuring 12 accomplished dancers, showcased a blend of neoclassical, classical, and contemporary works, including “Angelica” by Kelly Hanneman. In the summer of 2025, “A Suite for Small Spaces II” captivated audiences at the Omaha Fringe Festival with fresh creations from Julian Adair and guest choreographer Rachel Pruch.
With more dance events on the horizon, Ever After Productions is dedicated to fostering opportunities for dancers and choreographers to share their innovative works, inspiring further artistic growth.
